Description
As an Assembler at 3M, you will have the opportunity to work efficiently and effectively in a team setting to produce high-quality products. Your responsibilities will include:
- Working at various machines or stations assembling product, operating machinery, picking and packing finished goods, and inspecting products
- Using hand and power tools and operating powered industrial vehicles
- Using computers to run process operations, input data, and update inventory
- Demonstrating safe work behaviors to avoid injury to self or others and contributing to continuous improvement and problem-solving
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or GED or higher
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to work a fixed first, second, or third shift of 8 to 10 hours
- Reliable commute or plan to relocate to Red Wing, MN
Preferred qualifications include:
- Minimum of one year of manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer knowledge
- Effective communication skills
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to collaborate and work within a team setting
