Description
We are seeking a Strategic Maintenance Engineer with a focus on Turbines to join our Mechanical Maintenance - Strategic team at Ringhals nuclear power plant. As a key member of this team, you will work closely with experienced colleagues to ensure high availability and long-term functionality of mechanical components within your area of responsibility.
Your primary tasks will include:
- Developing, following up on, and improving strategic maintenance plans within your area
- Analyzing technical functions and proposing improvements, changes, and modifications
- Compiling technical reports and creating and maintaining instructions and guidelines
- Taking responsibility for, driving, or participating in change and maintenance projects
- Monitoring national and international technical developments within your field and implementing best practices to improve operations
- Providing input to planning work, tracking deviations from planned interventions, and reporting both economic and technical discrepancies
To qualify for this role, you have:
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, or a similar field, or equivalent competence gained through practical experience
- Experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably with a focus on steam turbines or hydraulic systems
- Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, both written and verbal
- The ability to plan and prioritize your work, handling high workloads periodically
