Bar Steward - IHR

As a Bar Steward with Princess Cruises, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional beverage experiences to guests. You will assist the Bartender in setting up the bar, provide a positive experience for every guest, promote beverage packages and Specialty Dining venues, and maintain a clean and welcoming lounge area.

Key responsibilities include:

• Setting up the bar location following brand standards
• Providing a positive beverage experience to every guest
• Promoting beverage packages and Specialty Dining venues
• Maintaining a clean and tidy lounge area
• Preparing Bar items for full beverage service
• Assisting in bar inventory counts
• Delivering OceanNow orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Assisting in food service as required
• Following beverage accounting procedures
• Handling and storing equipment, inventory, and supplies with care

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• At least two years of experience as a Bar Steward or similar role in the Hotel or Cruise industry
• A recognized Hotel/Hospitality school qualification
• Basic knowledge of Public Health and Sanitation regulations and procedures
• Ability to organize and complete work as per deadlines
• Working knowledge of wine and beverage products and cocktail presentation and preparation
• Fluent English language skills, both verbal and written
