Description
We are seeking a Bank - Specialist Physiotherapist to join our team. As a Specialist Physiotherapist, you will be an active member of the clinical team, providing a comprehensive therapy service to residents of West Hertfordshire referred into the service.
You will work within professional standards and clinical guidelines, promoting best practice and undertaking all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner, including assessing and treating your own caseload of patients/clients and maintaining professional documentation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Undertaking specialised uni-professional and multi-professional assessments
- Developing and implementing treatment plans for clients with a range of conditions, including frailty-related conditions, neurological conditions, musculoskeletal conditions, osteoporosis, learning disability, and mental health diagnoses
- Participating in the assessment process, performing overview assessments and complex specialist assessments as appropriate
- Communicating relevant medical information, assessment details, advice, and recommendations across agencies and with clients
- Being responsible for gaining valid, informed consent for assessment, treatment interventions, and sharing of information
- Having a working knowledge of clinical guidelines specific to the area you are working in
We offer a competitive employment package, including a salary of £21.46 per hour, basic pay + HCAS + 12.07% holiday pay.
To be eligible for this role, you will need to have a degree in Physiotherapy, current UK HCPC registration, and evidence of up-to-date CPD portfolio, attendance at specialist short courses or equivalent CPD activities within the specialist areas of Neuro Rehabilitation.
