Visual Designer - EA SPORTS™ UFC

The EA SPORTS UFC franchise offers an exciting experience for over 20 million players globally, delivering fluid and responsive mixed martial arts through innovative gameplay technology.

As a Visual Designer on the EA SPORTS UFC team based in Vancouver, you will play a crucial role in creating immersive digital entertainment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with UX and game designers to translate designs into high-quality UI mockups
• Develop visual systems and production-ready layouts from briefs
• Refine existing graphics for approvals and localization needs
• Create and refine style guides for typography, colors, and layout
• Report to the Art Director

Required Qualifications:

• Portfolio showcasing strong Graphic Design and UI Design skills
• 3+ years of experience in Graphic Design or Visual Design
• Experience designing UI for video games
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
• Familiarity with game development and UI/UX pipelines

Core Skills and Experience:

• Strong layout, typography, and visual hierarchy skills
• Knowledge of accessibility standards across digital channels
• Experience preparing assets for localization and production
• UI development
• Collaboration across design, UX, and art teams

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of 3D tools like Blender, Cinema4D, Maya, or Max
• Motion Graphics skills
• Experience creating UI for modern video game consoles
• Wireframing UI experience
