Senior Manager, Strategic Product Owner

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Product Owner to provide strategic and end-to-end leadership in the development and management of assigned general insurance products.

The successful candidate will drive the full product lifecycle, including product design, reinsurance structuring, and operational workflow development, with a strong focus on delivering scalable, efficient, and customer-centric solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading development and revamp of emerging General Insurance products, with a strong focus on financial lines (e.g. D&O, PI, Cyber, FI risks).
• Conducting market analysis, industry trend and competitor review to identify product opportunities and enhance competitiveness.
• Designing and implementing product features, pricing frameworks, and underwriting guidelines, ensuring alignment with business strategy and risk appetite.
• Establishing and managing reinsurance arrangements, including both treaty and facultative placements for large or complex risks.
• Developing and implementing end-to-end operational workflows on new products with clear SOPs and service standards.
• Ensuring all products comply with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in insurance or business administration field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in product development, underwriting or project management, including at least 5 years in management roles.
• Proven track record in driving new product design and operational workflow, preferably financial-line products.
• Fulfilment of the fit and proper criteria of the Insurance Authority for licensing as an individual insurance agent of the Company, and the minimum education and qualifications requirements, including but not limited to passes in IIQE Paper 1 & 2.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Fluency in English and Chinese.
