Engineering Manager - Member Experience

Omada Health is on a mission to bend the curve of chronic disease.

We are hiring an Engineering Manager to run a squad that builds Omada's Member-facing systems. As an Engineering Manager, you will ship code alongside your Builders, own the execution, and run the squad's rituals. You will partner closely with a Product Strategist who owns what the squad should build and why.

Responsibilities:

• Own the squad's delivery, including sprint shaping, prioritization, backlog grooming, and estimation.
• Own cycle time and improve it without compromising quality.
• Ship production code every sprint, off the critical path, using the same agent workflows as your squad.
• Partner with your Product Strategist to ensure the squad builds what is required.
• Grow your engineers and provide them with the best leadership.
• Own the operational health of your squad, including on-call rotations and post-incident analysis.
• Escalate early and often, bringing tradeoffs and recommendations.
• Hire new talent and show them why they should build a career with Omada.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years of managing engineers.
• A track record of shipping mission-critical software to production.
• Experience owning prioritization and estimation for a team.
• Experience giving direct developmental feedback.
• Currently shipping or recently shipped production code in at least one layer of the stack.
• Comfort with an expert-generalist team model.
• Hands-on experience directing AI agents through real-world production changes.
• Understanding of CI/CD, logging, monitoring, and telemetry.
• Excellent written communication skills.
