Cleaning Operative

We are seeking a part-time Cleaning Operative to provide on-site cleaning support for our client in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of service and a safe and welcoming environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the correct cleaning methods are used at all times
• Keep equipment clean and in good working order, reporting any defects to Supervisor/Manager immediately
• Comply with Time & Attendance system on site
• Maintain a professional approach to Clients, Colleagues, and Members of the Public
• Be flexible in your work and complete assigned duties
• Ensure high standards are maintained at all times

• Take on new skills to enhance the company's profile and service offering

• Wear full uniform and ID badges at all times
• Maintain a professional and tidy appearance
• Arrive on time for your shift

Quality Management and Health and Safety:

• Wear PPE where applicable
• Report accidents, incidents, and near misses to Line Manager immediately

• Support the growth of the business by up-selling and cross-selling to customers
• Support customer initiatives that could lead to longer-term benefits
• Perform ad-hoc duties as reasonably requested by ABM Management

Requirements:

• Willing to work flexible hours
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to pass security requirements/vetting
• Eligibility to work in Ireland/UK
• Good written and spoken English

Desired Qualifications:

• School leaving standard qualifications in Maths and English
• Full clean driving licence

Desired Experience:

• Experience within the relevant industry or a similar environment
• Time spent in a customer service environment
• Experience working within a results-orientated environment
