Description
We are seeking an Elkvalitetsingenjör (Power Quality Engineer) to join our team at Vattenfall Eldistribution AB, a leading electricity network company in Sweden. As a Power Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our power grid.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct disturbance analyses and investigations in high-voltage networks (12-145 kV)
- Evaluate power quality consequences of new connections, network changes, and station projects
- Contribute to development and innovation projects with power quality expertise
- Perform proactive analyses of power quality in our facilities and propose measures as needed
- Collaborate with customers, authorities, and internal partners
- Actively participate in strategic work on power quality
- Monitor and implement EU and authority directives
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in electrical engineering or energy
- Several years of experience in the electrical power industry within regional or local networks
- Experience in network analysis, network calculations, dimensioning, or electrical network design
Merit-based requirements:
- Experience working with power quality and measurement technology
