Quality Designer (Companion App)

Electronic Arts is seeking a Quality Designer to join the EA Sports FC Companion App Quality Verification team in Vancouver. This is a hybrid role.

As a Quality Designer, you will own the end-to-end quality strategy for the mobile and web companion app, collaborating to create solutions to quality problems, analysing data points to improve the player experience, and mentoring others.

Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end quality strategy for mobile and web
• Collaborate to create solutions to quality problems using an experimental mindset
• Analyse and compile data points to build strategies to improve overall player experience
• Mentor others and assist with growing their knowledge
• Promote a 'Player First' approach and advocate for the player in everything you do
• Partner with senior members of development, production, and design teams to develop a quality player experience

Requirements:

• Experience leading mobile game play testing
• Experience playing FC, including the Companion App
• 5+ years of applicable experience
• Foundation in machine learning/AI concepts and evaluation
• Experience with bug prevention and containment strategies
• Experience working within a continuous delivery model
• Experience working with React Native is a plus
