We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team at Barclays. As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and improve software that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to define software requirements and devise solution strategies.
- Ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
- Adhere to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data.
- Implement effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
Requirements
- Strong degree or expected degree achieved before June 2027.
- Genuine interest in technology, strong problem-solving skills, and drive to deliver innovative solutions.
- Experience with technologies such as Java, C++, C#, Python, SQL, JavaScript/TypeScript, containers, DevOps, cloud, machine learning, scripting, and real-time systems.
