Description

This hands-on Senior Software Engineer - Team Lead will lead a team of full stack Software Engineers, responsible for collaboration, coordination, and communication.

Key responsibilities include:

Motivating and leading the team, encouraging engineers to become self-organised and take ownership
Fostering an environment of continuous improvement, sharing ideas and learnings
Supporting team members' learning and growth, and leading by example
Working with the Engineering Manager to encourage healthy team collaboration and communication processes
Helping guide the team to deliver high-quality and innovative solutions
Assisting with technical interviews, selection, induction, and mentoring of new team members
Providing employee reviews, support, team-building, and cross-squad communication

Requirements:

Well-developed people management skills, with proven leadership experience
Ability to provide strong mentorship and establish key relationships with stakeholders
Proven experience in a senior level back-end Software Engineer role
