Description
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, is seeking a Security Guest Service Manager to oversee security and life safety operations. As a frontline, salaried people leader, you will lead and supervise a team of Security Hosts, aligning daily operations with Disney's high standards of guest service, safety, and brand protection.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and tactical leadership for security and life safety operations
- Supervise daily activities, set priorities, and coordinate with other leaders
- Ensure a safe, welcoming, and service-minded resort experience for Guests and Cast Members
- Conduct investigations and prepare detailed reports on incidents
- Protect sensitive information and apply confidentiality and need-to-know principles
- Promote and enforce company policies related to safety regulations and asset protection
- Understand the business, its culture, and operational challenges to identify opportunities to reduce risk
- Directly engage with leaders and Cast to provide clear direction and resources
- Maintain a positive, collaborative, and productive workplace
- Independently assess routine and escalated situations and make timely decisions
- Lead in the development and reinforcement of a strong culture of safety
- Establish clear performance and conduct expectations and hold Cast Members accountable
- Plan and prioritize teamwork and align schedules and resources
- Collaborate across departments and with other leaders to coordinate security support
- Lead, develop, and coach Cast Members through ongoing feedback and development planning
Required Qualifications:
- Current, valid, and in-good-standing Hawaii Security Guard card license
- 5+ years professional experience in security and/or life safety management
- Proven track record as a hard-working, meticulous, and dedicated leader
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound leadership judgment and emotional intelligence
- Exceptional people-management skills and experience creating a healthy, diverse, trusting, and team-oriented work culture
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle investigations with discretion and professionalism
- Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office
- Availability to work all shifts, including overnight, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of Hawaii State Statutes and experience interacting with law enforcement agencies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience directing comprehensive security programs and teams
- Knowledge of integrated access control technologies and crisis management
- Working knowledge of investigative and intelligence services
- Highly effective oral communicator with strong analytical skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of Aulani Resort policies and procedures
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience in a related discipline
