Description
We are seeking an Accountant to join our team in Mexico City. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accounting records comply with USGAAP and MEXGAAP, as well as maintaining the integrity and accuracy of financial information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate corporate and statutory accounting processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and deadlines
- Establish controls, prepare financial reports, and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate on the preparation of financial statements and notes
- Implement and develop operational efficiency strategies for accounting areas
- Provide support for treasury activities, ensuring processes are executed correctly and in accordance with local legislation
- Review, coordinate, and guarantee the reliability of corporate financial statement figures
- Lead external audit processes and financial statement preparation
- Run quarterly and annual SAP PC Controls reports
- Review local financial statements with the SR CoE
- Support local and corporate audits
- Control and review information recorded in G2N accounts
- Review integrations and reconciliations
- Provide support to internal clients on accounting and financial matters
- Conduct local analysis for corporate projects
- Prepare and monitor area budget
Requirements:
- Professional accountant with a degree in accounting and auditing
- Certified public accountant with an updated credential
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or finance
- Knowledge of financial reporting standards, ESG reports, and SAP ERP/BI
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- English language proficiency (80%)
