APAC Communications

ElevenLabs is seeking an exceptional regional comms lead to build and protect its reputation across APAC. The successful candidate will raise ElevenLabs' profile, shape how it's understood, and run campaigns that demonstrate its value in major markets across the region.

Responsibilities:

• Define and own the APAC communications strategy, building ElevenLabs' reputation as it expands across the region
• Design and run creative, high engagement campaigns across media, social, and events
• Shape the regional narrative: developing positioning, turning global news into local stories, and creating original local moments
• Spot reputational risks early and act to mitigate them
• Build relationships with journalists, influencers, customers, industry bodies, and event organisers
• Support executives with media interviews and speaking opportunities
• Partner across sales, marketing, policy, legal, and deployment – especially with General Managers and marketing leads who are spearheading global expansion
• Define the operating model for comms in APAC, and manage agencies as required in specific markets.

Requirements:

• Experience managing communications across multiple markets in APAC
• Strong relationships with journalists at top-tier publications, plus a demonstrable track record of pitching stories and handling difficult corporate issues
• A firm grasp of the political, regulatory, economic, and cultural landscape in the region
• A knack for unusually creative comms campaigns, including non-traditional tactics and channels
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• The ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment with nascent operating models
