Electrician Apprentice

As an Electrician Apprentice at Multimatic C-Mech, you will work under the guidance of experienced maintenance Electricians to provide safe, well-maintained equipment to all departments, ensuring quality and meeting production requirements in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and work with maintenance Electricians.
• Ensure lighting and power are in proper working order, meeting codes and company procedures.
• Perform electrical work, including repairs on equipment and machinery, under the guidance of an Electrician.
• Complete necessary paperwork, such as work orders and time sheets.
• Assist in implementing continuous improvement suggestions on the production line.
• Submit part requests and follow parts received procedures.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized work area.
• Work safely and in compliance with OHSA regulations.
• Participate in Kaizen and GEAR activities.
• Fulfill apprenticeship requirements.
• Perform other duties as required.

Basic Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 12 Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ontario registered 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year Electrical Apprentice or completed Ontario College technical training.
• Ability to rotate day and afternoon shifts.
• Good communication skills.
• Computer literacy and working knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and Outlook.
• Manufacturing experience; automotive industry experience is an asset.
• Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems is an asset.
• Omron PLC & HMI, Keyence camera systems knowledge is an asset.
• Self-motivated and passionate about pursuing a long-term career in the trade.

The total cash compensation range for this position is expected to be: $43,971.20 - $70,907.20
