Intern (D/W/M) - Application of AI for Warehouse Utilization and Occupancy - Investigation

The Merkenich spare parts warehouse stocks around 330,000 different parts and supplies around 1,000 dealerships, importers, and subsidiaries, as well as 7 other depots in Europe.

Responsibilities

Your tasks:

• Record the current process to optimise warehouse utilisation and occupancy of spare parts
• Investigate possible optimisation using an AI model
• Select the AI model and conduct modelling/investigation
• Develop proposals and procedures using AI

Qualifications

Your profile:

• Your studies have a background in Computer Science, AI/Machine Learning, or Software Engineering
• You enjoy working in an agile team
• You are communicative, motivated, and think solution-oriented
• You are familiar with Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
• You have good English language skills in writing and speaking
