Description
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team at Trainline. As a Senior .NET Engineer at Trainline, you will shape technical decisions and help the team make good ones. You will coach and mentor other engineers, and learn from them too. You will own your work from code through to production, including deployment and monitoring. You will spot and remove blockers, time sinks and waste, for yourself and the team. You will keep quality high and keep improving the codebase.
Our Tech Stack includes C# (.NET 6 to 10), DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, AWS, Docker, Terraform, GitHub Actions, New Relic, ELK.
You’ll be a great fit if you communicate clearly and enjoy working as part of a team, whether that’s pair-programming, mentoring or collaborating with front-end engineers and other disciplines. You should have strong hands-on C# and .NET experience, including recent features. You should have built and run microservices and event-driven systems, with a solid grasp of distributed systems and scale.
