Description

Ruveon is building a focused, fast-moving team and seeks a Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer to ensure the consistent performance and reliability of systems and equipment within the organization.

The successful candidate will analyze data to identify potential failures, implement reliability-centered maintenance strategies, and develop improvement plans to enhance operational uptime. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish metrics, conduct root cause analysis, and integrate best practices that promote long-term reliability and efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Understanding, following, and participating in the upkeep of Ruveon electrical norms, practices, standards, guidelines, and procedures
  • Providing key equipment support for the maintenance of area process operations
  • Ensuring the operability, reliability, and integrity of the assigned assets
  • Supporting electrical distribution systems and infrastructure projects within the Muscatine facility
  • Managing larger, complex turnarounds of the assigned assets
  • Leading and participating in root cause analysis, asset criticality analysis, and failure mode and effect analysis studies
  • Evaluating and providing electrical engineering and/or project management services
  • Identifying, evaluating, and implementing equipment and process modifications to eliminate deficiencies
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental requirements and engineering standards
  • Developing and maintaining equipment documentation
  • Providing equipment-specific technical training
  • Fostering experience exchange and promoting knowledge transfer with other Plant Engineers
  • Promoting continued development of self and area personnel
  • Providing technical support to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable operations

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
  • Six years of progressive engineering experience or a Master's degree with four years of engineering experience
  • Experience with DC/AC voltage up to 13.8kV
  • Working knowledge of National Electrical Code (NFPA 70 and 70E)

In return for your expertise, you will receive a salary of $96,560.00 - $144,840.00 per year, plus additional compensation which may include a bonus or commission. Benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, and more.
