Yard Hostler (Weekdays Rotation) - Waddell

As a Yard Hostler at Red Bull, you will be responsible for ensuring that trailers are moved within the yard in a safe and efficient manner using a Terminal Tractor. You will also be responsible for yard management, maintaining good housekeeping, and adhering to yard rules and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure effective and safe use of all equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain energy sources for Terminal Tractors and other equipment
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following company standards and procedures
• Safely operate a Terminal Tractor to move trailers in and out of dock doors and parking stalls
• Inspect trailers to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order
• Perform trailer inventory checks and yard audits
• Maintain records, logs, and forms as required by the company and regulatory entities
• Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PITs), such as forklifts and electric pallet jacks
• Use electronic equipment to track inventory accurately
• Work as part of a team to prevent yard bottlenecks and improve efficiency
• Build strong relationships with team members and business partners

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of Yard Hostler experience (preferred)
• Prior experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or Food & Beverage industries (preferred)
• Decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Basic understanding of computer systems and warehouse management systems
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are beneficial
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb stairs and ladders
• Occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts, varying temperatures, and weather conditions
• Certification for and operation of Terminal Tractors and Powered Industrial Trucks
• Active driver's license and clean driving record
• At least 18 years old

Compensation:

• Base pay: $21.00 per hour
• Target quarterly bonus: 5%

Schedule:

• Weekday rotation: Week 1: Monday – Thursday, 5am – 5pm; Week 2: Monday – Wednesday, 5am – 5pm
