Join our team at M&S as a Customer Assistant in our Bakery section, working at the sharp end of fresh produce, under pressure and with precision.
You'll be a hands-on, sleeves-up brand ambassador bringing energy and attention to detail to every shift – delivering hot bread, fresh perspectives, and fast, five-star service to our customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining high standards in food quality and safety
- Managing demand, keeping shelves full and customers impressed
- Balancing speed with safety, ensuring freshness and availability during peak hours
- Working closely with others while maintaining fast, high-quality output
- Adapting to the rhythm of the store, working across different roles as needed
This is a tough, fast-paced role – but one where you'll see the impact of your work, every single day.
Working Hours: Wk1: Mon 4AM - 12, Tues 4AM - 12, Sat 4AM - 12 WK 2: Sun 4AM - 12, Wed 4AM - 12, Fri 4AM - 12 Unsocial hours premium paid between 10pm-6am.
Requirements:
- Due to operational requirements, all successful candidates may be asked to work up to full-time hours in the weeks commencing 13th and 20th December.
- This job role involves working early mornings, so applicants must be over 18 years old.
