This role is crucial for the development and integration of powertrain control modules, ensuring robust and efficient operation across various vehicle applications within the evolving landscape of Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs).
Responsibilities:
- Configure and manage the communication stack for powertrain control modules using DaVinci.
- Configure AUTOSAR BSW components to ensure safety, security, stability, reliability, and performance within the powertrain domain.
- Master debugging and problem-solving using Lauterbach to troubleshoot low-level processor resets and software issues.
- Develop and update section maps for Infineon TC38xx and TC39xx microcontrollers to optimize linking and building of applications.
- Contribute to architecting the platform and strategically distributing runnables across different cores within powertrain microcontroller modules.
- Develop C-code-based high-level drivers to interface with supplier-provided low-level drivers.
- Maintain an understanding of Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) platform systems and how powertrain control modules integrate into and contribute to overall vehicle platform requirements.
- Possess a strong understanding of bootloaders and boot software, including those based on Vector packages.
- Possess a strong understanding of Hardware Security Module (HSM) software and cryptographic interfaces.
- Apply a deep understanding of C programming, pre-processors, compilers, makefiles, software build processes, and Continuous Integration (CI) automation to diagnose build issues and develop software.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in automotive embedded software development, specifically in powertrain control systems.
- Expertise in using DaVinci for communication stack and AUTOSAR BSW configuration.
- Proficiency with debugging tools such as Lauterbach.
- Strong knowledge of AUTOSAR Classic BSW configuration or BSW/Complex Device Driver (CDD) development.
- Strong knowledge of Infineon TC38xx and TC39xx microcontroller architectures and memory management.
- Experience with multi-core microcontroller architectures and CPU load balancing.
- Demonstrated ability to develop high-level drivers in C.
- Familiarity with automotive bootloader concepts and their interaction with application software.
- Solid understanding of Hardware Security Modules (HSM) and cryptographic principles, including CAN message authentication.
- In-depth knowledge of C programming, pre-processing, compilers, linking, makefiles, and software build systems, including CI automation.
- Awareness of Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) concepts and their impact on embedded powertrain systems.
