Description
We are seeking a Senior Research Scientist to lead R&D projects in RNA Biology, focusing on developing novel RNA-based therapies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead R&D projects to meet business milestones and deliverables
- Collaborate with marketing and production teams for new product and service development
- Design and engineer new IVT mRNA platform technology for next-generation RNA-based therapies
- Design and lead in vitro and in vivo novel mRNA candidate functional assays
- Generate, interpret, and present data to project teams
- Maintain accurate lab notebook records
- Monitor supply inventory and maintain a clean work area
- Train junior scientists and provide technical guidance
- Provide evaluation and feedback to direct reports
Requirements:
- PhD in molecular biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or related field
- >2 years of experience in molecular biology, cellular biology, biochemistry, or related disciplines
- Direct experience with nucleic acid design, synthesis, and assessment
- Strong collaborative and time management skills
- Broad molecular biology knowledge with engineering principles
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Compensation: $135,000 - $170,000 total compensation, including bonus
