Description

We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our Outpatient Rehabilitation team at Medical Plaza Miller in Winston Salem, North Carolina. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting a cooperative work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient care assessment and treatment, ensuring comprehensive and functional evaluations and treatments according to the Standard of Practice.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans with realistic goals, and encourage patients and significant others in setting goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, completing written patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge notes per policy.
  • Supervise support staff assisting with patient care, providing direction and feedback.
  • Meet department financial and productivity standards, adjusting individual schedules to meet patient and department needs.
  • Participate in process management to optimize quality and efficiency of services, identifying quality and operational opportunities.
  • Promote professional development and education of other healthcare workers, providing representation on committees.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, staff, and external customers.

Requirements:

  • B.S., M.S., or D.P.T degree from an accredited physical therapy school.
  • Current licensure in the state of North Carolina.
  • CPR certification in Basic Life Support, Level C.
