Join Razer's global mission to revolutionize gaming. As a Payroll Automation & Transformation Specialist, you will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll delivery across multiple Asia Pacific countries.
Job Responsibilities:
You will own end-to-end processing of Malaysia payroll in-house, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and statutory contributions. You will also act as the primary point of contact for outsourced payroll vendors across assigned APAC countries, reviewing and validating payroll inputs, calculations, and outputs.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Leading payroll-related audit activities, including SOX compliance and statutory audits
- Driving continuous improvement of payroll processes, controls, and systems across the region, leveraging AI, automation, and digital tools
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc payroll reports and reconciliations for management and finance teams
- Building strong working relationships with in-country HR, Finance, vendors, and regulatory bodies
Pre-Requisites:
- At least 4 years of regional payroll experience in a multi-country environment
- Hands-on experience with Malaysia payroll processing (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB)
- Experience managing outsourced payroll vendors across multiple jurisdictions
- Prior experience supporting SOX, statutory, or internal/external audits
- Strong knowledge of APAC payroll regulations, statutory requirements, and compliance frameworks
- Proficiency in Timesoft payroll system, preferably Workday HRIS and advanced Excel skills
