Cleaning Operative - Olympia

ABM UK is seeking reliable and proactive Cleaning Operatives to join the soft services team at a brand-new, high-profile multi-use complex in West Kensington, London.

This is a full-time role requiring flexibility, including weekend work and shift-based availability, to meet the demands of a dynamic, high-footfall environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning tasks to the highest standards across designated areas.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as scrubber-dryers and vacuum cleaners safely and effectively.
• Ensure all cleaning activities comply with health & safety and COSHH regulations.
• Report any defects, issues, or hazards promptly to the Team Leader.
• Assist with waste management and recycling processes.
• Maintain stock levels of cleaning materials and use resources efficiently.

Requirements

• Good understanding of verbal and written English.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work overtime when required.
• Awareness of health & safety and COSHH regulations.

Desirable

• Previous experience in a cleaning role.
• Experience operating cleaning machinery e.g., scrubber-dryers, waste compactors.
• Full UK driving license.
