PRM Driver (Ambi Lift & Minibus Driver)

We are seeking a PRM Driver (Ambi Lift & Minibus Driver) to join our team at Stansted Airport. As a member of the Assisted Passenger Airport Driving Team, you will drive specialist vehicles on the airfield to transfer passengers with assistance needs to and from the aircraft to the terminal building. The role involves driving minibuses and Class 2 rigid heavy goods vehicles, assisting passengers onto the aircraft or into terminal buildings, and completing customer service duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any issues
• Drive company vehicles safely and securely
• Operate vehicles within close proximity to aircraft using all safety systems
• Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle at all times
• Assist passengers with mobility needs onto aircraft or into terminal buildings
• Complete customer service duties in the terminal when required
• Update operations coordinator on progress using PDAs and Zello
• Observe all Stansted airport airside driving requirements
• Promote a safe and secure environment at all times

Person Specification:

• Manual and passenger handling experience
• Safety-focused
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Full clean UK driving license with D1
• Experience in a similar role or driving larger vehicles is desirable
• Previous airport driving experience is essential
