We have a rewarding opportunity as a Shipping Clerk. You will manage inbound and outbound deliveries for the Santa Fe Springs facility. This role involves coordinating with carriers, preparing shipping documentation, verifying shipments against orders, and scheduling inbound and outbound deliveries.
Responsibilities Include
- Process orders through printing and generating paperwork, verifying inventory, etc.
- Create shipping documents (i.e. packing slips, bill of ladings).
- Logistics coordinating with carriers to ensure inbound and outbound delivery schedules are met.
- Perform inbound and outbound shipment tracking.
- Minimal amounts of troubleshooting and delivery confirmation when shipping issues arise.
- Participate in inventory control cycle counts and various reconciliation.
- Negotiate and manage schedule conflicts with employees independently.
What You'll Need
- HS diploma or GED equivalent
- Knowledge of RF scanning equipment
- Must have proficient experience with Microsoft Office software
- Previous SAP experience or warehouse management systems
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Previous warehouse experience preferably shipping and receiving
- Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
- Strong conflict resolution skills regarding scheduling conflicts
Working Conditions
- Must be able to lift up to 20lbs., bend and grab office supplies, sit for long periods of time and walk throughout shift.
- Non-climate-controlled warehouse as well as controlled office setting.
- No travel requirements.
