Spire Southampton are recruiting for a highly motivated and experienced Perioperative Practitioner/SFA to join our high performing Theatre Team on a permanent Full-time basis.
The successful candidate will have experience in either Orthopaedic scrub or Cardiac scrub. As a Perioperative Practitioner, you will assist in scrubbing for consultant led surgeries that vary in complexity and specialism, such as orthopaedics. You will assess patient’s health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, develop care plans that are appropriate to the patient, taking into consideration the care pathway, perioperative risks and their wellbeing. You will provide exemplary planned care for patients and assist in the management and organisation of care provision in the operating theatre.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified ODP or Scrub Nurse with surgical first assistant experience desirable. You will be NMC or HCPC registered with no restrictions on your pin and have at least 2 years scrub experience in either orthopaedics or cardiac.
