Stage Assistant (Purchasing)

We are seeking a Stage Assistant (Purchasing) to join our team at the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO) in Le Mans, France. The successful candidate will work closely with the Purchasing team to support various purchasing projects and contribute to the transformation of the purchasing function.

Responsibilities:

• Consultations and calls for tenders:
• Collect and analyse needs from internal teams
• Participate in sourcing and identification of suppliers
• Prepare and launch consultations
• Analyse and compare commercial offers
• Participate in negotiations and preparation of recommendations for supplier selection

• Performance and supplier relationship:
• Participate in monitoring major contracts
• Contribute to monitoring supplier performance and preparing supplier reviews
• Update supplier panels and references
• Contribute to data reliability and analysis by purchasing family

• Participation in the transformation of the purchasing function (implementation of a new purchasing IT system):
• Participate in different phases of deployment of the purchasing IT system
• Support the structuring and reliability of data necessary for the new tool
• Contribute to the preparation of supplier, article, and purchasing family references
• Participate in change management: support for future users, dissemination of purchasing processes and procedures

Requirements:

• You are currently studying for a Bac+4/+5 qualification with a specialisation in Purchasing, Business School, or equivalent
• You demonstrate curiosity, adaptability, and a genuine initiative spirit
• You are rigorous and organised, able to manage multiple subjects simultaneously and respect priorities
• You have good analytical and synthesis skills
• You enjoy teamwork and possess excellent interpersonal skills
• You master office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• You have a particular interest in digital tools, data management, and process improvement
