Maintenance Event Staff

Kansas Speedway seeks motivated individuals to join our Maintenance team. This is a seasonal position to assist the team in preparing the facility and grounds for events and to maintain and improve the overall condition of the buildings and grounds.

General Maintenance

• Perform general building and grounds maintenance and upkeep, including cleaning, power washing, garbage removal, mowing, weed whipping, tree trimming, landscaping, painting, and event setup.
• Operate hand and power tools, tractors, carts, heavy equipment, and vehicles.

Janitorial

• Clean and remove trash from office buildings, houses, suite buildings, etc.
• Clean, sanitise, and stock restrooms.
• Operate hand and power tools, carts and vehicles.

Signs/Hospitality

• Maintain and install signs, vinyl application and installation of large banners.
• Paint ground graphics and walls and buildings.
• Set up and install tents, tables, chairs, and other equipment for events.
• Operate forklifts and boom lifts is preferred.
• Operate hand and power tools, tractors, carts, heavy equipment, and vehicles.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to work overtime including some evenings and weekends
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather elements
• Frequently lifting and carrying objects/material up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
• Reliable transportation to and from the track location.
