As a Solutions Architect in Italy, you will be crucial to our mission, using your technical expertise to demonstrate how our Data & Intelligence Platform helps customers solve complex data challenges.

You will work with a collaborative, customer-focused team, valuing innovation and creativity, to create customised solutions that help customers achieve their goals.

The impact you will have:

• Build successful relationships with clients throughout Italy, providing technical and business value to Databricks customers.
• Operate as an expert in big data analytics to excite customers about Databricks, developing into a champion and trusted advisor.
• Scale best practices, author reference architectures, and help build the Databricks community in your region.
• Grow your knowledge and expertise to become a technical and/or industry specialist.

What we look for:

• Engage customers in technical sales, challenge their questions, and communicate technical and value propositions.
• Develop customer relationships and build internal partnerships.
• Prior experience with coding in a core programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala) and willingness to learn Spark.
• Proficient with Big Data Analytics technologies, including hands-on expertise with complex proofs-of-concept and public cloud platforms.
• Experienced in use case discovery, scoping, and delivering complex solution architecture designs.

Mandatory requirements:

• Location in the Milan region.
• Flexibility to travel (up to 30%) for customer meetings, events, and trainings.
• Business proficiency in both Italian and English.

The pay range for this role is €92,300 - €126,950 EUR.
