Ward Manager

You will join the team on the Private Adult Ward at Priory Hospital North London. As a Ward Manager, you will provide clinical leadership and oversee the day-to-day running of the ward. You will lead and support the nursing team, ensure high standards of patient care, manage staffing and compliance, and promote a positive, safe, and compassionate environment for patients and colleagues alike.

The role offers the opportunity to be part of a well-established service providing care for conditions including addictions, depression, anxiety, stress and OCD, as well as private autism assessments for adults.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical leadership and oversee the day-to-day running of the Private Adult Ward
• Lead and support the nursing team
• Ensure high standards of patient care
• Manage staffing and compliance
• Promote a positive, safe, and compassionate environment for patients and colleagues alike

Requirements:

• An experienced Mental Health Nurse with at least two years leadership experience
• Experience supervising nursing or care staff
• Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD)
• Trained Assessor/Supervisor (or willingness to achieve)
• Computer literate
• Willingness to undertake further clinical, leadership and management training
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a clinical environment

Benefits:

• Salary: £47,375 - £53,329 per annum dependant on experience
