Inverter HW Design Specialist

Ferrari, known for its exceptional track record in Formula One and GT production cars, is seeking an Inverter HW Design Specialist based in Maranello, Italy.

In this role, you will contribute to inverter hardware design, simulation, and testing, working closely with multidisciplinary teams from requirements gathering to component testing.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and gather technical requirements for inverter hardware development.
• Design electronic circuits, including electrical schematics and PCB layouts.
• Perform functional and circuit-level simulations.
• Support the definition and implementation of test setups and test plans.
• Conduct component-level tests independently in-house.
• Provide support during testing at external laboratories.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Engineering with excellent academic results.
• Knowledge of inverter simulation and design.
• Proficiency in laboratory instrumentation and reading electrical schematics, datasheets, and applications.
• Experience with simulation tools like MATLAB, PLECS, and LTspice, as well as electronic design software such as Altium.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Fluent English; Italian language skills are an advantage.

Work Arrangement:

• On-site with up to 1 day per week remote work.
