Data Center MEP Engineer

We are seeking a Data Center MEP Engineer to join our Information Technology organization. As a Data Center MEP Engineer, you will lead the end-to-end design, commissioning, operation, and continuous improvement of liquid cooling infrastructure, including direct liquid cooling, cold-plate assemblies, rear-door heat exchangers, and related systems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, commissioning, operation, and improvement of liquid cooling infrastructure
• Develop hydraulic models, heat-load calculations, and thermal simulations to validate cooling capacity for high-density rack deployments
• Define and maintain liquid cooling distribution architecture
• Oversee the design, commissioning, lifecycle management, and maintenance of critical mechanical systems
• Support the design, review, and commissioning of critical electrical infrastructure
• Act as Owner’s Engineer for MEP capital projects
• Maintain critical-facility documentation
• Monitor infrastructure performance and capacity, drive efficiency improvements, support audits and compliance requirements, and report key metrics to senior leadership

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on data center MEP engineering experience
• Demonstrated experience designing and commissioning liquid cooling technology
• Strong mechanical engineering knowledge of chilled water, glycol, and refrigerant-based cooling systems
• Working knowledge of critical electrical systems
• Experience delivering MEP capital projects
• Familiarity with ASHRAE TC 9.9 guidelines, Uptime Institute Tier methodology, and applicable building and electrical safety requirements
• Proficiency with CAD or BIM tools and thermal-modeling tools
• Strong documentation, project coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Estimated base salary range: $175,000 to $250,000
