LGV 2 Driver - PM

As an LGV 2 Driver at Biffa, you will work as part of a single-person crew, driving various LGV vehicles, including front and back loaders, to collect and empty bins from trade waste customers.

This role involves working independently using your own initiative in the outdoors, contributing to the local environment and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive LGV vehicles, including front and back loaders
• Collect and empty bins from trade waste customers
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects
• Safely manoeuvre and operate large rigid vehicles
• Maintain good communication and customer service skills
• Work independently or as part of a crew

Requirements:

• Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card
• Previous Class 2 driving experience
• Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety
• Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements
• Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a crew
• Good awareness of health & safety procedures
