Description
We are seeking a Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager to join our team at Barclays, responsible for supporting the successful delivery of Location Strategy projects to plan, budget, agreed quality and governance standards.
The purpose of this role is to design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and delivering high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and devise solution strategies
- Participating in code reviews and promoting a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing
- Staying informed of industry technology trends and innovations and contributing to the organisation's technology communities
- Adhering to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data
- Implementing effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability
As a Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, you will be expected to have experience with:
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of macOS internals and related technologies
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Microsoft Sql Studio
- Strong scripting knowledge of MS Powershell
- Understanding of the Incident and Change Management process based on ITIL framework
