SpaceXAI is seeking a Receiving Specialist to support its data center operations in Memphis, Tennessee, or Southaven, Mississippi.

Job Overview

As a Receiving Specialist, you will be responsible for the accurate, timely receipt, inspection, and processing of high-value materials and equipment. This includes servers, GPUs, networking gear, power systems, cooling infrastructure, and other critical components. Your goal will be to ensure incoming shipments are verified, transacted, labeled, and staged correctly to support construction, commissioning, and ongoing operations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect all materials and packages, verifying conformity with accompanying paperwork.
  • Process receipts in the ERP/WMS system and handle hold or exception packages as required.
  • Create and print routing labels and other required identifiers for received material.
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming paperwork and documentation.
  • Interface with carriers, internal customers, purchasing, and other departments to resolve discrepancies or issues.
  • Document non-conformance occurrences according to prescribed procedures.
  • Perform cycle counts and review stagnant inventory reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on return shipments and reverse logistics.
  • Operate forklifts and powered industrial equipment safely.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in receiving and staging areas.
  • Support material flow to construction and operations teams.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • 3+ years of experience in a supply chain, warehousing, or manufacturing environment.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in a receiving role.
  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, technology, or data center environments.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and scanning equipment.
  • Experience operating forklifts and powered industrial equipment.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with the Microsoft suite.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Availability for 12.5-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Rotating work schedule of 4 days on / 3 days off, then 3 days on / 4 days off.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for the majority of the shift.
  • Comfortable working in warehouse/data center environments with varying temperatures, noise, and dust.
