Description
We are seeking a Manager, Biostatistics to join our Clinical Solutions team. As a Manager, Biostatistics, you will be responsible for hiring, managing, developing, and holding accountable biostatisticians in an assigned department, as well as meeting assigned financial targets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the Biostatistics department meets timelines, provides high-quality deliverables, complies with contractual project requirements and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and conducts projects within budget
- Participating in the development of department SOPs and guidelines to promote standardized and consistent processes
- Supporting staff development, training, and retention
- Facilitating succession planning and maintaining a Biostatistics staff with diverse skills, abilities, and competencies
- Making recommendations for, and participating actively in hiring, onboarding, transferring, and terminating staff
- Maintaining a good working knowledge of clinical drug development, ICH, and other regulatory guidelines, and biostatistics
- Prioritizing activities across Biostatistics projects and facilitating mutually beneficial resolutions to project conflicts
- Supporting the assignment of, or directly assigning Biostatisticians to projects
- Conducting senior review of project deliverables
- Leading or participating in projects across multiple studies or programs
- Supporting business development activities
- Participating in, or leading departmental or corporate initiatives
