Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Mexico City. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing accounts payable processes, strong analytical skills, and a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, vendor management, and payment tracking
• Support month-end close processes and ensure accuracy of financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintain accurate historical records
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Collaborate with the product team to develop features to improve the functionality of Jeeves's product
• Collaborate with external parties to provide information

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks)
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
• Deep understanding of accounts payable functions and procedures
• Experience with process improvement and system implementation projects
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
