Senior Mechanical Engineer

NVIDIA is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its R&D team in Taiwan. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and improving mechanical systems and products.

Responsibilities:

• Lead mechanical design of new products and systems using CAD software Creo to create 2D and 3D models.
• Conduct feasibility studies and design reviews to ensure product reliability and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manufacturing personnel to integrate components into products.
• Propose and implement innovative solutions to mechanical challenges, reducing costs and enhancing product performance and quality.
• Plan and execute mechanical testing, analyzing test data to evaluate product quality and performance.
• Lead manufacturing personnel to investigate issue root causes, scheduling and conducting engineering validation in assembly lines.
• Manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously, coordinating with suppliers for procurement of mechanical components and setting manufacturing timelines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in factory manufacturing and successful server product development.
• Fluent English (both written and spoken), with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in PTC Creo design.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Server design experience.
• Fluent oral English and Mandarin.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and critical thinking.
• Good leadership and management skills.
• Willingness to travel to factories.
