1Password is growing and seeking an Intermediate Frontend Developer to join its Device Security team. The company is building the foundation for a safe, productive digital future by ensuring every identity is authentic, every application sign-in is secure, and every device is trusted.
As a mid-level Developer, you’ll help build administrative experiences such as device compliance dashboards and policy configuration tools while contributing to a new product initiative from the ground up. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Product, Design, and infrastructure partners to make complex security information easier for enterprise administrators to understand and act on.
The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience in software development, including building web experiences with React and TypeScript. They should have experience developing clear, maintainable frontend components and interfaces for complex product requirements, and have worked on products serving large user bases.
In this role, you can expect to:
- Build and maintain administrative interfaces for enterprise customers, including device compliance dashboards and policy configuration tools.
- Develop intuitive experiences that help administrators understand device security posture, identify risks, and take action.
- Contribute to a new Device Security initiative that is still being shaped, with opportunities to influence product direction and technical solutions.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers and cross-functional partners through planning, technical discussions, code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Grow your technical judgment and ownership through mentorship, knowledge sharing, pair programming, and feedback.
1Password offers a competitive salary, with ranges of $123,000 - $172,000 USD per year for USA-based roles and $111,000 - $155,000 CAD per year for Canada-based roles. Benefits include health, dental, 401k or RRSP, and paid time off.
