Senior Manager-Strategy & Projects

Prudential, in partnership with the HCL group, plans to set up a standalone Indian health insurance company to address growing healthcare needs in India.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Strategy & Projects professional to join our team at Prudential Health India, a Zero to One team building a greenfield health insurance deployment in India.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of the company, managing mission-critical projects, driving key initiatives, and ensuring alignment with our long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement corporate strategies to achieve business objectives and drive growth.
• Conduct market analysis and competitive benchmarking to identify opportunities and threats.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define strategic priorities and initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional teams to execute strategic projects and initiatives.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to inform strategic planning.
• Prepare and present strategic plans, reports, and recommendations to the executive team.
• Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships to support growth objectives.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, or a related field, preferably within the health insurance industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven track record of successfully leading strategic initiatives and projects.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of the health insurance industry and regulatory landscape is highly desirable.
