Part-Time CDL-B School Bus Driver

As a part-time CDL-B School Bus Driver at The Menta Education Group, you will provide transportation for and direct supervision of special education students ages 5-21.

Your hourly pay will range from $18.50 to $19.50, with opportunities for attendance bonuses and safe-driver bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Drive morning and afternoon routes transporting special education students to and from school.
• Escort students to and from community experiences such as student jobs, college classes, and volunteer sites during the day.
• Transport vehicles to and from the maintenance facility.
• Perform vehicle inspections as necessary.
• If CDL-B certified, drive a bus with 27 passengers or less.

Qualifications

• CDL-B certification required.
• You must be at least 23 years old.
• Punctuality and good attendance are essential.
• Established work history in transportation with a demonstrated length of stay in jobs.
• Patience and a willingness to work with students requiring behavioural and emotional support.
• An acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Commercial Driver's License with School Bus Passenger Endorsement.
• Pass drug and criminal background screening procedures.
