Abbotsleigh Mews Care Home in Sidcup is seeking a skilled Cook to join their team. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing delicious and nutritious meals for residents, tailoring dishes to individual diet plans.
About the Role: The successful candidate will have a passion for cooking, previous experience working in a fresh food kitchen, and relevant hygiene certificates. You will be responsible for:
- Creating varied and nutritional menus in line with dietary needs and preferences of residents
- Delivering an excellent dining experience, helping residents feel at home
- Training and managing the kitchen team in prepping, cooking, and serving food
- Adhering to COSHH and HACCP guidelines, company policies, and procedures
- Catering for special events or seasonal activities
