As a Staff Plant Engineer, you will focus on optimizing and advancing process technologies within production facilities. You will lead engineering teams to develop and implement innovative solutions that enhance safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure operability, reliability, and functional integrity of assigned assets
  • Manage larger/complex turnarounds of assigned assets
  • Plan, execute, and monitor multiple basic budget/mid-sized investments
  • Troubleshoot asset and process problems
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement equipment/process modifications
  • Ensure compliance with technical rules and regulations
  • Update technical documentation and records
  • Coordinate internal and external service providers
  • Execute smaller projects from planning to start-up
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement technical knowledge and best practice transfer
  • Work with site management, plant functional areas, team members, and external service providers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Related Field
  • 7+ years progressive experience in engineering and plant operations
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and relationship building
  • Project management skills, including planning, budget management, and team oversight
  • Good knowledge of engineering tools and skills
  • Understanding of supporting processes associated with operations and maintenance of a production plant

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS in Engineering or MBA
  • Knowledge of Bayer technical practices and standards
  • Knowledge of medical device process technology and regulations

Salary: $96,480.00 - $144,720.00 per year, with additional compensation and benefits
