Community Manager, French Speaking (Contract)

Reddit is seeking a strategic community management and operations expert to join the International Community team and help grow Reddit outside of the US. As a Community Manager, French Speaking (Contract), you will be at the forefront of jumpstarting and fostering local communities.

Responsibilities:

• Gain a deep understanding of the French market to identify user and local moderator challenges, and market opportunities.
• Iterate, innovate, and scale the consumer growth playbook by recognizing new opportunities, suggesting bold ideas and programs, and persuading internal teams to align on new plans.
• Build strategic plans to cultivate, recruit, educate, and grow a local community of moderators.
• Communicate quantitative and qualitative insights to optimize and improve the international consumer growth playbook.
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data, set KPIs, and execute impactful community initiatives.
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Community, Engineering, Marketing, Safety, and BD teams.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of community development, project management, growth, operations, or product consulting experience.
• Deep knowledge and understanding of French culture.
• Nuanced comprehension of the digital landscape and cultural intricacies in France.
• Succinct and persuasive communicator.
• Results-obsessed with outstanding execution and high attention to detail.
• Deep interest in developing and driving projects.
• Proficiency in French & English.
