Senior Engineer - LMEsmart

We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join our team, focusing on engineering resilient Inter-Office integrations and workflows for our LMEsmart platform.

The successful candidate will develop automation of test tooling and framework development for the Inter-Office Trading platform, onboard vendor tools, analyze requirements, develop, deploy, and document solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute automated test suites with actionable MI/reporting
• Refine a robust automation foundation that improves efficiency and delivery
• Communicate key insights to IT and Business stakeholders
• Manage relevant test environments

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related disciplines
• 5+ years of experience in software development with Java (JVM)
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructures
• Knowledge of off-heap data structures, JVM-based optimization, and distributed systems
• Experience with data streaming (e.g., Kafka) and big-data processing paradigms
• Working knowledge of DevOps principles and secure software development (DevSecOps)

Nice to have:

• UI development using React.js
• Scripting languages, preferably Python
• NoSQL or distributed databases (e.g., Redis, Couchbase)
• Automation/configuration management (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
• Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Understanding of containers and Kubernetes
• Ability to scale applications to handle high-frequency market data
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills
