Description
We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to play a pivotal role in designing, leading, and delivering transformative land development and municipal infrastructure projects in Northern Ontario.
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will lead multidisciplinary teams in the delivery of land development and municipal infrastructure projects from concept planning through detailed design and construction. You will build trusted relationships with municipal, industrial, development, transportation, and public-sector clients while providing strategic technical guidance throughout project lifecycles.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading multidisciplinary teams in project delivery
- Building client relationships and providing technical guidance
- Managing project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, quality, and risk management activities
- Navigating municipal approvals and regulatory processes
- Supporting business growth through client engagement and business development initiatives
- Mentoring and developing engineers and designers
- Collaborating with specialists to deliver integrated solutions for complex infrastructure projects
- Championing innovation, continuous improvement, and digital delivery best practices
Requirements:
- 10-15+ years of progressive experience delivering land development and municipal engineering projects within Ontario
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario
- Strong understanding of Ontario's land development, municipal servicing, and development approvals processes
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Proven experience leading project teams, managing client relationships, and delivering successful project outcomes
- Demonstrated business development experience
