Description
As a Senior Consultant in the area of SAP EDI, you will develop and maintain EDI interfaces using SAP PI mapping. You will perform mapping development, testing, and troubleshooting for EDI integrations. You will also analyze existing SAP PI interfaces and identify migration requirements for Cloud Integration (CI). Additionally, you will support the migration of EDI interfaces from SAP PI to Cloud Integration (CI) as per the customer's migration plan and develop and configure interfaces in CI, ensuring functional and technical compatibility with existing PI integrations.
To be successful in this role, you need strong knowledge of EDI communication protocols such as AS2, FTP, SFTP, and OFTP2. You should also have strong knowledge of EDI standards including EDIFACT, VDA, and SAP Idocs. Experience in mapping development in SAP PI and understanding of EDI principles and perspectives when onboarding suppliers/customers/carriers are essential. You should be able to analyze issues in EDI messages and troubleshoot EDI connections.
